Anyone who has been looking to work from home knows that it is not that easy to find a home based venture. In this special report we will shed light on the aspects of working from home that you do not get to read or hear but can only know from experience.

I have been researching work from home options for more almost three years now. I have yet to come across a website that offers decisive work from home option at the upstart. Either the website will consist of leads to more websites or they will be paid resources where you will not know what you are getting into before you pay up.

Working from home has a wide definition. A lot of people looking to work from home presume that this kind of work involves the Internet and doing work online. Not true. Sure the internet will play a part in if you are to work from home, but how important a part depends on the work. You can be a telecommuter for a wide variety of jobs and yet use the telephone or fax more than you use a computer.

This misnomer of information can be largely attributed to the fact that when ever you make a search for 'working from home' or similar searches on the Internet, you get bombarded with hundreds of websites. So much so that a lot of people have come to associate work from home to the offers being made on the Internet, offers that claim are going to make thousands in weeks. Two words.... Not happening.

Basically there are two categories of home based work:

1) Home Based Jobs

2) Home Based Businesses

Home based jobs are telecommuting work from home jobs that allow you to work from a home office via Internet, Phone or Fax. Today, virtually every line of job has a telecommuting category attached to it. Almost every field such as Management, Teaching, Artists, Writers, Designers, Accountants, Sales, Marketing and several other major conventional lines of work have a telecommuters opening as well.

And these working from home offers come in from the major corporate players too.

Now to the second category of work from home options which is Home Based Businesses.

Home based businesses are great. More than a thousand home based businesses are started in the United States of America every day!

More and more people are choosing working from home with home based businesses. Some will say that if you want to work from home, you should be into a home based business for yourself.

Home based business can really be about anything. If you have special skills you can use them to start a home based business. Be it crafts, cooking, marketing or anything.

Working from home is a great step towards shaping your like the way you want to. You will have more time to do things that you need to and you will be able to use that time the way you want to.

You will save money working from home as you will not have to commute long distances every day or even rent out space for your business.

There is however a certain amount of discipline required to making working from home a success.

There are more distractions at home than there are at a usual work place.
